For your first time working on a chiptune track, this is really cool! :D I definitely would not mind hearing more of this type of music from you in the future. Keep up the good work!

StaticBlu responds:

Thanks. I really appreciate the feedback. I'm probably going to make another attempt again in the future. As for right now, I have other ideas to compose.

Hey, you never know? A news station may listen to this song and think, "Hey! We need that track right there for our theme!" XD

In seriousness, I thought this was good! I especially loved the guitar. Awesome job!

I kinda want to cry right now....because this song is so lovely. I can't even put into proper words how affected I am by your song. I can only wish to someday write music this heartfelt and amazing. Thanking for posting such an inspiring piece, sir :) Keep up the truly amazing work!

Setu-Firestorm responds:

Thank you! =)

I can genuinely see why some people may not dig this track. There does appear to not be an actual direction to this song.

HOWEVER, because of my personal taste, I like this song a lot! "Sweet Potato Roll" seems like a song where you just...roll along. I like to just "roll along" sometimes.

I think you did a good job with the mixing too. Keep up the good work :)

Genclops responds:

Im not sure I see what you mean, its a loop for something like a point and click game.. The structure is fairly simple and to the point... its not intended to build up and climax etc, but to loop aesthetically for a fair amount of time. Feel free drop me a PM if you have more notes. Thank-you for the rate/review/listen.

The instrumentation in "Chasing the Dragon" is quite unique! I did not really hear anything that called for major constructive criticism, so I say, "Good job!" :D Keep up the good work!

Avalon69 responds:

Thank you very much for the review! I've gotten some good words on this song, and I believe this one and "Game Over" are my favorite productions of mine. I like to make unique music and not make it sound like everything else that's out and about!
Thanks again, I love hearing people's thoughts about my tunes, as a musician(as I'm sure you know) people enjoying what I create is what keeps me going :)

This song is pretty solid! I love everything that was going on in the piece.

I keep wanting to hear a backing ambient pad in "Changing Skies." An ambient-type pad could add more atmosphere to the song, especially from the beginning to the 1 minute mark AND 1:41 to the end. Otherwise, good job!

Keep up the good work!

tbremise responds:

Thanks again. I see what you mean about an ambient pad. Maybe with the next song I make like this, i will try to add that in.

Very relaxing. I love tracks like this.

Ah! I love the whole construction and arrangement of the various instruments around the main melody. Very cool! Even though the melody is repetitive, that's fine here because it seems you want the focus to be on everything else that is happening around it. Plus, I tend to like to repeat stuff over and over again in my own songs sometimes anyway LOL!

Anyway, great job! Scouted~

tbremise responds:

Thank you very much. It means a lot. =D

This sounds really good! Very soothing yet upbeat atmosphere to the song. I can almost hear this song for a sky level in a video game. Cool job!

LazyBucks responds:

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it :D

Lovely. It definitely hits all the emotional spots. You did a beautiful job. Keep up the awesome!

TheyCallMeCaudex responds:

Thanks! I will!
